Traditional kitchenware is not very practical when you are exploring the great outdoors. Being organized is very important when cooking on campsite for a group of people, with limited table space and not enough utensils. That is why it is smart to invest in the specialized camping cookware which is lightweight, compact and can be neatly packed in a chuck box. At Northwest Outlet you can find quality cooksets of different sizes designed to withstand years and years of use. For decades we have been partnering with only the best camping gear manufacturers like Coleman, Coghlans, MSR and many more.

Campfire Cooking Equipment for Portable Kitchen

If you plan to set up camp for couple of days or more, it is a good idea to establish a nice sturdy camp kitchen. Manufacturers of camping gear have come up with solutions for portable kitchens. One of them is a camp kitchen box, sometimes with a built-in stove, designed for maximum utility, convenience, and saving camp storage space. Camping stoves range from a classic two-burner propane stove to camping boilers and tiny backpacking stoves.

In addition to the stove, fire pit and dishwashing station you will need an outdoor cooking set. Ultralight options are made out of aluminum and titanium, but there's also a wide array of stainless steel pots, pans, bowls, cups, and mugs. Plastic is a common option because it's lightweight and sturdy enough. You'll find camping plastic cups, bowls, cutting boards, utensils, spatulas, spoons and more.

Just because you are miles away from home, doesn’t mean that your refined palate is condemned to trail mix, dry soup and charred hot dogs. There is plenty of  campfire cooking tools and gourmet camp kitchen gear to bring out your inner camp chef. From cast iron pots, a collapsible whisk, pivot spoons and spatulas, to salt and pepper shakers and condiment containers, you can find anything you need to eat well in the wild. So pop the cork and bring out those collapsible wine glasses!

Even backpackers do not have to eat out of a can. Backpacking cooking kits are extremly  lightweight, compact, but they are functional when it comes to boiling water for a dehydrated meal, making ramen, boiling some tea and even cooking a soup for one.

As you can see, with the right gear setting up a camp kitchen is not hard, but it requires preparation. In our store you can find anything you need for outdoor cooking and dining. However you like to enjoy nature, having a picnic, tailgating , tent camping or exploring the backcountry, you can always look forward to those wonderful meals shared over campfire.
